DFDL heads up to Bhutan with new practice group

We are pleased to announce the birth of our firm’s newest Group, the Bhutan Group.

DFDL’s Bhutan Group will focus on the development of general investment and energy related matters, with an emphasis on advising developers, financial institutions, multilateral organizations and other interested parties.

DFDL’s Bhutan Group is co-headed by Audray Souche, head of DFDL’s Clean Energy Division and Nick Towle, head of the Technical Assistance Division and an experienced M&A lawyer. DFDL has advised on numerous innovative and groundbreaking power projects across Asia. This is a testament to DFDL’s commitment to the continued sustainable development of the country and our goal of supporting Bhutan’s aim to increase its hydropower capacity.

Of note, this expansion serves the pre-existing needs of some of our international clients with business interests in Bhutan.
