The DFDL team is happy to announce that Bhawna Bakshi (Legal Adviser, Myanmar and ASEAN Desk) has been honored with a 2022 Lex-Falcon Award in recognition of her important contributions to legal profession.
In a ceremony on 24-25 March at the LexTalk World Global Hybrid Conference, held at the Hotel Crown Plaza in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Bhawna was selected as one of the most influential lawyers with less than 10 years of legal experience, identifying her as a stellar, up-and-coming leader in her field. The Lex-Falcon Awards are “conferred to the most deserving legal professionals and practitioners for immense contributions in the global legal industry,” according to the LexTalk website.
Lex-Falcon winners are first nominated for the consideration of an awards committee, which factors in a candidate’s overall impact on the legal industry, innovation and how “futuristic” is their approach to the industry.
Bhawna is a Legal Adviser based in the DFDL Singapore office. With six years of experience, her practice areas include mergers & acquisitions and banking & finance. She has significant experience handling complex transactions in Myanmar and around the region. She holds a Master of Laws in International Business Law from the National University of Singapore and regularly contributes articles to local or regional publications.
