Competition Law Issues Discussed in Singapore

On 8 March, David Fruitman spoke at a lunch event on competition law in ASEAN organized by In-house Competition Lawyers Association in Singapore, where he provided a quick overview of the law and regulatory developments across ASEAN.

In-house Competition Lawyers Association is an informal gathering of lawyers to discuss matters of common interest on competition law.

This was followed on March 9 by his participation in a panel discussion at Global Competition Review Live in Singapore which focused upon abuse of dominant position in digital markets.

Launched in 1997, GCR is an essential daily resource for over 10,000 competition professionals worldwide and is recognised as the world’s leading competition law and policy journal and news service. GCR Live events are held throughout the year in various jurisdictions on the key issues in competition law, bringing together speakers and delegates from in-house, private practice, government agencies and economic consultancies, for practical advice and the opportunity to hear directly from national competition authorities and the European Commission. Regular Q&A sessions, case studies and symposiums allow delegate interaction.
