We are pleased to announce that DFDL has successfully assisted a Mekong-focused venture capital firm, Belt Road Capital Management (Belt Road), on its first investment in Vietnam. Belt Road has injected USD 3 million in a Series B funding round into Tima, a Vietnamese P2P lending platform established since 2015. Our assistance in the deal initially involved conducting legal and tax due diligence, led by Angus Mitchell and Tran Thi Vu Hanh. DFDL also drafted the transaction documents of the Series B funding in Tima by Belt Road, led by Jerome Buzenet with assistance from Phan Thi Trang Dai.
