DFDL recently contributed to the 2020 edition of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Asia Employment Law Bulletin. In this new edition, employment and labour experts look at significant areas of change in some of the key Asia- Pacific jurisdictions and explain the ways in which disruptive forces have permeated employment law, employer policies and workplace culture across the region.
For the Cambodia section, DFDL Partners Chris Robinson and Vansok Khem gave an overview of the new Law on Social Security Schemes (“LSSS”) promulgated on 2 November 2019. Marion Carles-Salmon (DFDL Head of Regional Employment and Labour Practice) and Arijeet Nandi (DFDL Junior Legal Adviser) provided an overview of two important updates in Myanmar: the Law amending the Labour Dispute Settlement Law (“LSD Law”) and the Occupational Health and Safety Law (“OHSL”).
