DFDL invited to participate in experts panel discussions on Cambodia and Vietnam with Canada’s International Trade Minister

During the Canadian International Trade Mission that took place last week including stops in Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, DFDL’s managing partner Martin Desautels was invited to take part in a couple of exclusive experts panel discussions concerning Vietnam and Cambodia’s business outlooks.

These discussion panels were formed by selected experts, businessmen and CEOs from various sectors with the objective of highlighting growth opportunities in these countries.

Ed Fast is the first Canadian trade minister to visit southeast Asian nations on official business. The trade mission aims to deepen Canada’s trade and investment ties in the region. Fast will also co-chair the first Canada-Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Economic Ministers Meeting.

“With one in five Canadian jobs generated by trade, helping Canadian companies expand and succeed in exciting, high-growth markets is a key part of Canada’s Economic Action Plan,” Fast said in a recent statement.

“As an international full services legal and tax firm, DFDL is helping many Canadian companies anchor development in our developing countries. Canada has world-class products, services, experience and expertise. I am proud to contribute to their development in our region ”
