DFDL were proud to host a networking event on 2 September 2019 welcoming a visiting Victoria University of Wellington (“VUW”) delegation from New Zealand to Phnom Penh. The purpose of the event was to forge closer business ties between Cambodia and New Zealand and explore business and investment opportunities that could be pursued in Cambodia through mutual cooperation and potential bilateral partnerships.
Clint O’Connell (DFDL Partner & Head of Cambodia Tax Practice) and Sokheng Say (Partner & Head of the Accounting Advisory Practice) were on hand to welcome the visitors and offer expert local advice on the opportunities and challenges when entering the Cambodian market. The 30 visiting guests gave great feedback on this event, which proved to be a great forum to network and share perspectives, and will be sure to take place again in the not-too-distant future.
