On 24 & 26 June 2020, DFDL in association with Nishith Desai Associates organized a stimulating discussion on doing business in the emerging Southeast Asian economies for Indian Investors.
This Make in India via Southeast Asia webinar series aimed to guide Indian Investors on how to do business in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam and help them leverage the immediate opportunities on offer. DFDL’s team of experts comprised Shahwar Nizam (Partner & Managing Director, DFDL Bangladesh), William Greenlee (Partner, Managing Director, DFDL Myanmar and Singapore), Jerome Buzenet (Partner & Managing Director, DFDL Vietnam), Nishant Choudhary (Partner, Deputy Managing Director, DFDL Myanmar) and Vansok Khem (Partner, DFDL Cambodia). They all shared their insights and expertise on how to invest in each country, on how to run a business and gave practical tips on navigating regulatory and cultural hurdles particular to each jurisdiction to the audience.
Around 100 persons attended these two live events and gained invaluable knowledge on investment opportunities in Southeast Asia and had their queries expertly addressed during the closing Q&A.
