William’s practice focuses on M&A and project finance and includes negotiating, structuring, documenting and managing large private equity and opportunity-fund companies and transactions. The DFDL Indonesia practice will be coordinated by DFDL’s Managing Director in Singapore, Mr Rashed Idrees (rashed.idrees@dfdl.com), and who will continue to work closely with DFDL’s local counsels with whom we work closely on all Indonesian law matters.

“DFDL has a long historical presence in Myanmar. The recent political and economic changes have brought a fast and growing interest from international investors for the country. To meet with this demand, we have significantly strengthened our teams of legal and tax advisers over the past year locally. William’s expertise in capital markets and M&A, and his regional experience, will be an extremely valuable addition to our Myanmar practice and a great asset for all of our clients wanting to invest in the country.” Martin Desautels, Managing Partner.
