DFDL is pleased to announce that three of our senior experts have been honored as industry leaders in the 2023 World Tax Practitioners Rankings published by the International Tax Review (ITR), a guide to top global tax firms.
The accolades were earned in Cambodia by Clint O’Connell (Partner and Head of Cambodia’s Tax and Customs Practice) and in Thailand by Jonathan Blaine (Thailand Tax Director and Co-Head of Regional Compliance & Investigations Practice) and Jack Sheehan (Partner and Head of the Regional Tax Practice).
Clint, Jonathan, and Jack were ranked as “highly regarded” tax practitioners when the ITR World Tax Leaders research process results were announced for the Asia-Pacific region on 31 August 2022.
According to ITR, the rankings are based on three components:
- Client feedback from those with direct practical experience of their markets; those who can give a first-hand review of the skills and abilities of those they worked with.
- Practical evidence gathered by our researchers from practices all over the world. We collect, collate, and scrutinize the work of practitioners – both public and private – to gain a detailed understanding of their methods and capabilities.
- Peer feedback from the leading names in their respective fields through surveys and direct interviews with partners, directors, and managers, to get the market’s perspective on the rankings.
