DFDL is pleased to sponsor the Asia Financial Institution Forum 2019 (AFIForum 2019) which will be held over 22 -23 January 2019 at the Amari Watergate Bangkok.
This upcoming event is the inaugural edition of an annual gathering that will become the largest forum focused on the financial sector in Asia and its impact on various local communities. The AFIForum is targeting 500+ delegates operating in the financial sector coming from over 15 Asian countries. These include 100+ institutional investors from around the globe, central bankers, consultants, experts, and 50+ speakers based in Thailand. These sessions will cover topics such as; Green Finance, Sustainable Banking and Overseas Investment, Commercial banks heightening their Corporate and Social Responsibility (“CSR”) commitments, Disruptive Innovations and Trends in Asia’s Financial Markets, and at-risk countries in Asian markets.

This will discuss how to shake up and re-invigorate new sectors of markets; spur innovation; and encourage greater stakeholder efforts.
Nishant Choudhary, DFDL Myanmar Deputy Managing Director, Head of the Banking and Finance Practice Group, will be speaking on Myanmar Commercial and MFI case studies. He will present an overview of business models and discuss successful initiatives and options on how to scale-up operations in this sector.
