EABC Connects: Real World Experiences, Requirements and Misconceptions in PDPA Compliance

DFDL and the European Association for Business and Commerce (“EABC”) are pleased to invite you to a breakfast briefing on Thailand’s newly enacted Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) and what businesses must do to remain in compliance.

The briefing will attempt to answer questions regarding the scope of the law and how it affects businesses.

The seminar will also provide actionable advice about conducting and implementing PDPA-compliant projects and discuss PDPA documents, policies, and procedures.

The expert speakers will also explain frequent misconceptions about:

  • The state of development of regulation and implementation of the PDPA
  • Consent versus Privacy
  • Notice versus Terms and Conditions
  • Data Controller versus Data Processor
  • Data Processing Agreements
  • The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) versus the PDPA

Attendees will learn about PDPA regulations from expert speakers who have direct experience working with the PDPA.
