Jerome Buzenet Speaks at John Molson EMBA Group Business Conference Day in Ho Chi Minh City

On 20 May 2019, the Concordia University – John Molson School of Business of Canada and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (“CanCham”) organized a Conference Day at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel to welcome a delegation of Executive MBA candidates from the John Molson School of Business. At this event, Jerome Buzenet, DFDL Partner & Vietnam Managing Director, delivered a presentation ‘Doing Business in Vietnam – Legal Aspects’ to this visiting delegation. This presentation gave an overview of the regulatory framework governing investment in Vietnam, restrictions on foreign land ownership, taxation issues, employment matters and more. The audience asked many questions that Jerome happily answered on the dos and don’ts of doing business and investing in Vietnam. The overall event was thoroughly enjoyed and well received by all attendees and provided a fertile platform for the forging of new connections and discussion of new and exciting business opportunities.
