On 20 April 2021, Marion Carles-Salmon (Head of Regional Employment and Labor Practice, Regional Senior Legal Adviser) was pleased to join the panel discussion on the ‘Future of Work in Asia Pacific’ at the Employment Law Alliance (“ELA”) Conference.
This event was organized with the intention of discussing recent employment and labor developments happening word-wide. Practical tips were on offer to employers on ways to effectively navigate their way through the year given all the extra rules and restrictions introduced in various efforts to combat the spread and effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At this well-attended event Marion offered her expertise and latest insights on Vietnam’s COVID-19 early vaccination program and on the new Vietnamese Labor Code 2019. She shared best practices worth implementing by companies as they chart their course through these turbulent times.
