On 17 November 2020, Marion Carles-Salmon (DFDL Head of Regional Employment & Labor Practice, Regional Legal Adviser) was pleased to participate in the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce Human Resources Strategy Committee of November 2020 by giving an insightful presentation on Thai employment law. After briefly summarizing the key points of the Thai labor and employment legal framework, Marion discussed the latest COVID-19 employment issues that employers are currently facing and practical steps for businesses to recruit, retain, motivate and develop employees during these unprecedented times. The committee members attending in person and those joining online gained practical knowledge on the current COVID-19 situation in Thailand from a Human Resources perspective.
