DFDL extends a warm congratulations to Ng Woan Na (Regional Senior Legal Adviser, China Desk) for being elected to the Board of the Malaysian – Thai Chamber of Commerce (“MTCC”) during the Annual General Meeting held on 30 March 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Since 2002, the MTCC has helped to forge durable and productive relationships between Malaysian businesses and their Thai counterparts, as well as promoting trade links between Malaysia, Thailand and neighboring Southeast Asian countries.
Woan Na, who has been actively involved in the MTCC activities (notably on her role as the representative speaker for the Indochina Malaysian Business Chambers E-Summit 2021), will be chairing the Seminar and Conference Committee. Her election to the Board was a recognition of her legal expertise and success in elevating the profile of the MTCC in the relevant business communities.
Woan Na’s primary areas of practice are corporate and commercial matters. She has experience in advising both local and international firms on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, take-overs, joint-venture structuring, rights issues and regulatory compliance. She also has focus expertise in the domain of data privacy and competition regulations.
DFDL is confident that Woan Na will provide valuable contributions through her leadership and dynamism and be of great asset to the MTCC.
