DFDL is very proud to announce the appointment of a new Partner, Nishant Choudhary, to the Firm.
His appointment stands as a testament to his continued loyalty, dedication, and hard work, along with the remarkable efforts that he has made towards the overall success and growth of the Firm in recent years.
Nishant is based at DFDL’s Yangon office and serves as Deputy Managing Director and is the head the banking and finance practice in Myanmar. He has more than thirteen years’ of experience practicing law, eight in his native India and five so far which have been spent in Myanmar. During that time Nishant has advised on some of the largest and most challenging transactions and investments in Myanmar. With a grounding in banking and finance, his other areas of expertise include; telecommunications, aviation, power, oil & gas, real estate, general corporate, and competition law. In additional to transactional advisory work, Nishant has considerable dispute resolution experience in India.
