DFDL is very proud to announce that our Partner and Head of the Regional Accounting Advisory Practice Group, Sokheng Say, has been elected and appointed as the New President of the KICPAA for the 6th mandate for a four year term (2020-2024). The results of the new Governing Council election were announced on 26 June 2020 at the Annual General Meeting.
The appointment and composition of the new Governing Council were officially approved by the Minister of Economy and Finance’s Prakas No. 721 issued on 2 September 2020.
Congratulations to Sokheng on his new role as President and we have no doubt that in this new capacity at the helm he will serve as a driving force in propelling and guiding the Institute’s upcoming developments, goals, future aspirations and achievements forward in the coming months and years.
Sokheng is an internationally recognized accountant. He is; a member of the KICPAA, an Australia-qualified Certified Practicing Accountant (“CPA”), along with being a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (“CIMA”) in the UK and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”) in the USA.
