Walter Heiser has been named DFDL’s newest Partner and Shareholder.
David Doran, Partner and Chairman, said that Walter has provided a significant senior level contribution to DFDL over the eight years that he has been with the firm, managing legal services on many large hydropower projects in the Lao PDR and contributing his considerable industry knowledge to other projects around the region.
“We are delighted that he will now be participating as a Partner and will contribute his knowledge and expertise to our shareholding to help improve and develop DFDL,” said David.
Walter has over 30 years’ experience as an attorney, developer and project finance specialist for the electric power and infrastructure industries, including PSEG Global Inc., Covanta Energy Corporation and Meiya Power Company Ltd., world-wide developers, owners and operators of power sector assets. He has broad experience in developing, structuring, negotiating and financing energy projects and distribution companies in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, India, Southeast Asia and China. Walter holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York, a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law and an AB, Economics & History from Columbia University, New York.
