DFDL Thailand Hosts COVID-19 Tax Updates Webinar

On 14 May 2020, the DFDL Thailand Tax Team organized and hosted a well-attended webinar ‘How to Manage Your Tax Affairs in Thailand during the COVID-19 crisis’. Jack Sheehan (Partner & Head of the Regional Tax Practice), Jonathan Blaine (Thailand Tax Director) and Chanattorn Thunyaluck (Thailand Senior Tax Adviser) shared their insights and expertise with the audience on how to deal with important tax-related matters during the COVID-19 pandemic. With Jack moderating this live event, Jonathan Blaine discussed tax relief & recent Thailand tax updates related to COVID-19 extended by the Thai Government to affected businesses across the country as well as tax filing & payment relief measures during the pandemic. Chanattorn’s speech focused on other tax and non-tax considerations: tax relief measures on debt restructuring, employment relief measures and corporate compliance relief measures.
