On 1 September 2021, DFDL & CBRE Cambodia were pleased to co-host the webinar ‘Next Steps in Construction: Exploring New Construction Industry Regulations & Trends in Cambodia‘.
Over the course of an hour, the team of local and international real estate experts, Seka Hep (Partner and Cambodia Deputy Managing Director, DFDL), Guy Gilgen (Executive Director, Project Management, CBRE Southeast Asia) and James Hodge (Managing Director, CBRE Cambodia), discussed the current construction trends in Cambodia.
Guy started the live event highlighting the key trends in Construction across Cambodia and Southeast Asia with some industry updates on labor force, health, safety and sustainability in construction sites.
Seka provided the 100+ attendees in the audience with an insightful and detailed presentation of the new law on construction with a special focus on what is new. She also explained with examples the different steps in planning, developing, and starting a real estate construction project in Cambodia.
The webinar ended with a Q&A session with a lot of interesting questions raised by the audience.
