Myanmar Economic Forum: Frontier to Emerging Market

We are delighted to introduce you to the Myanmar Economic Forum, a Myanmar-based “think tank” focused on all things economics with a research interest in public policy. The Myanmar Economic Forum is hosting this special event for industry leaders, entrepreneurs and policy makers to meet and discuss business opportunities, ideas and solutions for Myanmar’s entry into global financial markets and its long-term sustainable economic development.

The key themes for the 2016 conference are:

Day 1: How to best integrate Myanmar into the global financial markets

Day 2: Policy Impacts for Increased FDI’s into Myanmar (with an emphasis on “Sustainable Infrastructure Development and the Environment”)

DFDL Myanmar Managing Director William D. Greenlee, Jr. will be moderating Discussion Panel 6: Myanmar Renewable Energy Sector – Investment Policy, from 4:00–5:00 pm on Day 2 (7 October). The full agenda is available on the MEF website.
