We are pleased to announce that James Finch, Partner and Managing Director of our Myanmar office and Jack Sheehan, Regional Director and Head of our Tax & Customs Practice Group, made a very successful presentation at the Myanmar Private Sector Investment Summit (MPSIS) on 28 January 2013, in Yangon, Myanmar.
The conference provided one-stop information that is essential and relevant for doing business in Myanmar. The presentations ranged from Myanmar investment law and trade policies to Myanmar taxation law and currency reforms.
In addition to the speakers, William Greenlee, Partner and Deputy Managing Director and Henri- Frédéric Hibon, Senior Adviser and Head of the Myanmar Regional Energy, Mining & Infrastructure as well as M&A Practice Group were also at the event.
All in all, this conference successfully raised the profile of DFDL in the private sector from small and medium enterprises (SME) to key private sector leaders in the fields of Manufacturing, Retail, Trading, Agriculture, Hospitality, Real Estate and Construction, and Transport and Infrastructure.
