DFDL Mekong continues expansion with key promotion of regional partner
The board of DFDL Mekong has nominated M. William Greenlee as a new Regional Partner. As DFDL expands, so does the need for strong and dedicated management. This move is a natural progression of William’s career at DFDL Mekong and is an excellent selection and a well-deserved appointment.
William joined DFDL in 2009 as Country Manager Director for Lao P.D.R. He also acted as local counsel to Ex-Im Bank of China in relation to a 120 MW hydropower project (US$200 M Investment). Prior to joining DFDL, William negotiated, structured and drafted relevant agreements for large-scale, multinational transactions. He also served as Board Member of Angkor Capital Bank, Cambodia and Lao Capital Bank, Laos and advised shareholders as to long-term business strategies, detailing operations and investments throughout Asia.
William has notable expertise in negotiating, structuring, documenting and managing large private equity and opportunity fund companies and transactions. His practice reaches, but is not limited to, international transactions, project financing, mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures, private equity, corporate, banking, mining, hydroelectric, hospitality, gaming.
With his appointment, William will bring a tremendous amount of leadership with an eye to further regional development and grow existing opportunities. He recently declared “ Still waiting for his comment” + comment from DDD.
