The DFDL Bangkok team joined Decathlon in celebrating the opening of their debut store in Thailand. Decathlon’s first outlet in Tesco Lotus Bangna will be a welcome milestone along with the other four stores set to open in the coming weeks.
The DFDL Bangkok team has been assisting Decathlon since April 2013 on all legal aspects of establishing the sporting goods’ megastores in Thailand. Overcoming significant challenges, we have assisted them with a detailed study on the commercial rules and regulatory requirements applicable to the 179 product lines to be sold in the stores, incorporation matters, lease drafting and negotiations with Tesco, health and safety compliance study, etc. The team, led by Audray Souche, is consisted of Suradech Hongsa, Kraisorn Rueangkul, Kunal Sachdev, Kavita Pradoemkulchai, and Ponpun Krataykhwan.
France-based Decathlon was established in 1976 and is one of the world’s biggest sporting goods retailers with more than 900 stores worldwide.
