DFDL Details Recent Thai Government Proposals to Control Online Digital Media Providers

DFDL Senior Legal Adviser Vinay Ahuja recently published an article on online media regulation in Thailand in the Inter-Pacific Bar Association Journal.

The article, ‘Thailand Throws Down the Gauntlet to Online Digital Media Providers’, offers an intrinsic insight into recent attempts by the Thai government to regulate online digital media providers in the form of legislation to counteract the perceived misuse of operators’ networks. With the ever-increasing implications of social media becoming far more apparent, the Thai government is taking bold moves to introduce legislation which aims to control online digital media providers.
