MICHEL DAUGUET, Chief Executive Officer

With over 15 years of experience of business development in South East Asia, Michel Dauguet is a seasoned professional with record tracks in value creation across publishing, software and legal industries. Cumulating more than 10 years as a CEO, Michel had a full private equity experience in start-ups, turnarounds, mergers and exits. At DFDL, Michel is applying a strategy-driven and process-oriented discipline to drive the transformation of the firm’s fast growing operations. Michel is an MBA graduate from INSEAD business school and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

PATRICK PILON, Regional Director General

Patrick has had 15 years professional experience in professional service organizations, with his most recent experience (prior to joining DFDL) in the Business Risk Services of Ernst & Young in Quebec, Canada. He has extensive experience in operations and finance management with in depth knowledge of company internal processes and has a strong background in company valuations and profitability analysis. Patrick is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

PAUL ADAIR, Regional Finance Manager

Paul has had 24 years professional experience in commercial and professional service organizations. He has both technical knowledge and practical experience in financial reporting, implementing IFRS, developing Corporate Governance frameworks and risk management strategies as well as internal and external audit skills. His international experience has been garnered from working in a diverse array of businesses around the globe. Before arriving in Cambodia he gained extensive international accounting experience working in Australia, England, Ireland and New Zealand.

LAURENT NGUYEN, Regional Marketing Director

Laurent is a confirmed manager of profit centers nearly 20 years’ experience leading marketing and business development operations in commercial property industry, e-business and B2B services (Arthur Andersen). Prior to join DFDL, Laurent founded two businesses in Vietnam: a retail company and a marketing consulting firm. At DFDL, Laurent is responsible for managing DFDL ‘s marketing team as well as implementing all corporate business development support tools and systems. He is a Graduate from Audencia, one of the top French business schools-Grandes Ecoles curriculum. He speaks French, English, German (intermediate) and has notions of Vietnamese.

RYAN MARIN, Regional HR Manager

Ryan is a well-rounded Human Resources professional experienced in the areas of employee relations, HR policy formulation and implementation, organizational development, recruitment, training and development, and benefits and compensation. He is experienced in the area of Business Continuity Management (BS25999) and has completed the BS25999 Lead Assessor’s Course making him qualified to assess business continuity management systems. Ryan has also been involved in the transition of human resources as a result of information technology outsourcing deals.

DAVID BOWLER, Regional IT manager

David Bowler has 26 years’ experience in the IT industry recently working for such firms as 01 Creative Solutions in Phnom Penh, Tonos.Com Entertainment, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and software firms in the USA. At DFDL he manages systems and infrastructure, and drives systems improvements, delivering effective and efficient solutions to address our needs. David is responsible for the delivery of IT systems, services and support to all of DFDL offices. Working closely with senior managers and frontline staff, he enables productivity improvements for all staff through the delivery of appropriate IT solutions. David speaks English, Greek and basic Khmer.
