On 19–20 June 2026, DFDL’s senior leaders gathered in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Luang Prabang, Lao PDR, for the DFDL Senior Leadership Retreat 2026. The two-day retreat provided an opportunity for leaders from across the firm to reflect on achievements, exchange ideas, and align priorities for the future.
Held at Soupattra Hotel, the retreat featured discussions on client development, quality initiatives, human resources, financial discipline, strategic objectives, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in legal practice. Participants also had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Andrew Lamb, who led interactive sessions on developing strategies for senior leadership.
Beyond the business sessions, the retreat provided valuable opportunities to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration among colleagues from across the region. Participants also enjoyed experiencing the unique culture and hospitality of Luang Prabang, including a memorable Mekong sunset cruise.
The retreat reaffirmed DFDL’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration as the firm continues to support clients and drive sustainable growth across Southeast Asia and beyond.
