On 6 and 7 February 2020, the US Embassy in Cambodia along with AmCham Cambodia and USAID organized an event for an agricultural trade delegation from the US, at the Rosewood Hotel in Phnom Penh. DFDL Cambodia was pleased to be the main sponsor of this event, attended by leading local and international agriculture sector experts and representatives, titled ‘Business Opportunities in Cambodia Agriculture’. On 6 February, the participants had the chance to hear welcoming addresses by US Ambassador Patrick Murphy and Minister of the Ministry of Commerce Pan Sorasak as well as panel discussions on various topics, including technology to redefine agriculture, cloud computing in AgriTech, food safety and biosecurity. The first day concluded with a B2B matchmaking event and a networking reception, attended by more than 200 guests. The second day was dedicated to the agri-food industry and sustainable finance.
