Kunal Sachdev, Thunyaporn Chartisathian and Audray Souche contributed the series of articles on marriage in Thailand in the Swiss-Thai Chamber of Commerce newsletter. The article focuses on the various legal issues involved in the civil union of two people under Thai law.
The article explores the marital laws of Thailand and takes a closer look at the regulatory and legal implications in case of an annulment. The marriage in Thailand can be ended in three ways: death, divorce or by being canceled by the court (via annulment). The legal annulment is a court declaration that the marriage was never valid.
