Thunyaporn Chartisathian and Kunal Sachdev wrote the second part of the “marriage” article in the new newsletter of the Thai Canadian Chamber of Commerce Voyageur.
The article explores the marital laws of Thailand and takes a closer look at the regulatory and legal implications in case of a divorce. The marriage in Thailand can be ended in three ways: death, divorce or by being canceled by the court (via annulment). The divorce is defined as the dissolution of a marriage by (a) mutual consent; (b) the judgment of the court based on one of the ground for divorce enumerated in the Civil and Commercial Code.
