From 25 to 27 April 2019, the Inter-Pacific Bar Association hosted the 29th IPBA Annual Meeting and Conference in Singapore. This event brought together thought leaders to share their insights and perspectives on wide ranging legal issues concerning developments in global and regional trade, new technology and emerging trends. The overall theme of the conference centered upon the key message of Technology, Business and Law – Global Perspectives. For the 26 April session, DFDL’s Vinay Ahuja (Partner – Indonesia, Lao PDR and Thailand; Head of Regional Banking and Finance Practice Group) paneled a discussion on the Fintech landscape in 2019. The event was well attended by the lawyers interested in the fintech domain and provided a great opportunity to network and share experiences.
