DFDL was honored to have the opportunity to present to the General Department of Taxation in Cambodia on the taxation system in Vietnam. The training was held over two afternoons and was attended by top Cambodian government officials, including H.E. Heng Soknang, Deputy Director General of the GDT, who gave the welcoming speech. The topics covered by Bernard Cobarrubias were corporate income tax, value added tax and personal income tax. Jude Ocampo has suggested, as a follow up, to present on further topics and the GDT has agreed that this would be a good idea. The presentations this week were the clear beginning of a valuable partnership.
