As Cambodia’s consumer base continues to expand, the demand for goods such as home appliances and motor vehicles is growing. Finance leasing is an increasingly popular method used in Cambodia for financing such purchases.

DFDL was pleased to present a breakfast session where Patrick Smith along with Jude Ocampo took the audience through the existing regulatory and tax regimes applicable to financial leases.

They highlighted the key legal and tax issues as well as provided an overview of practical considerations.The topics discussed was of interest to a wide range of personnel at banks, micro-finance institutions and large corporations.
