Etienne is the Head of Regional Corporate Advisory Services of DFDL in Cambodia and the local Head of Corporate Advisory Services, where he is in charge of M&A, corporate finance and business development matters.

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial and banking industry, he occupied various positions in France with KPMG, Société Générale, and GE Capital before relocating to Cambodia in 2015 with his family. He joined the nascent leasing industry as Country Manager and CEO of two leasing companies in Cambodia (BSP Finance Cambodia and i-Finance), and Laos (BSP Finance Lao). He successfully managed the set-up of two joint-ventures, and the sale process of one company to a major Korean investor.

In 2022, in addition to his current position, Etienne was appointed as a member of the rating committee of the Rating Agency of Cambodia, the first licensed rating agency in Cambodia.

Etienne was elected as a Director at the Board of Eurocham, where he aims to help its members to attract foreign investors, to develop business opportunities within ASEAN, and to advocate for fruitful business and regulatory relationships between Cambodia and the EU.

In 2023, he is trainer and mentor at Khmer Enterprise, the governmental venture capital and start-up incubator for Cambodian SMEs.

Etienne holds a Master in Business Management from Dauphine University (Paris, France), and speaks English, and French.
