Etienne is a business adviser based in DFDL Bangkok office, and the Regional Head of Business Development for the firm. Etienne’s main areas of expertise are in M&A, corporate finance and business development, with over 12 years of experience working across Asian countries.
As a former trade adviser at the French Embassy in Thailand, Etienne serviced MNCs, SMEs and startups in their market entry strategy and business expansion efforts. Later in his capacity of Vice President Asia for an M&A advisory firm, he was directly involved in various deal origination and execution mandates, covering buy-side, sell-side and capital raising. During these years, Etienne has developed an extensive network of corporate contacts, institutional investors and advisory firms across Southeast Asia, China and Europe. From 2020 to 2025, he has served as co-president of La French Tech Bangkok, a community of tech entrepreneurs, investors and corporates.
Etienne holds master's degrees in management and the humanities from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon. He speaks English, French, Mandarin and Thai.
