Jérôme is a Partner at DFDL in Vietnam. His practice focuses on M&A, private equity, restructuring, and project finance matters across Vietnam and the wider Mekong Region.

Jérôme has been permanently based in Vietnam since 2004. He served as Managing Director of DFDL’s Vietnam offices from 2012 to 2024.

Prior to joining DFDL, he was Counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP's Hanoi office from 2005 to 2011, where he led the firm's capital markets practice for Vietnam and advised several leading international financial institutions.

He began his legal career in France in 1998 at Bureau Francis Lefebvre and later practiced at Linklaters before relocating to Vietnam.

Jérôme is recognized as a leading lawyer in Vietnam by Chambers, The Legal 500, and IFLR1000. He regularly speaks at conferences throughout Vietnam and Asia on Vietnamese capital markets and M&A topics.

He qualified as a French Lawyer (Avocat) in 1999 and holds an LL.M. in English Law from Oxford University (St Peter's College, 2000), having also studied at Paris-La Sorbonne University.
