Tamrong is a Senior Associate with extensive experience in corporate transactional and general commercial matters, having worked on complex domestic and cross-border matters across the Asia-Pacific region. He has experience with leading national, Magic Circle, and US law firms, and in the commercial centers of Tokyo, Sydney, and Bangkok.
Tamrong focuses on large-scale mergers and acquisitions, banking and corporate finance, and energy and project finance transactions, although his work also encompasses compliance, including labor and product liability matters, commercial arrangements such as distribution, supply, licensing, and leasing, as well as debt restructuring, corporate rehabilitation and bankruptcy, civil litigation, foreign business licensing, foreign direct investment, and international trade.
He regularly leads and coordinates buyer’s, vendor’s, or financing due diligence exercises, develops risk identification and mitigation strategies, and drafts and negotiates transaction documentation, taking matters through to completion and post-closing implementation. Tamrong has acted for a broad range of clients, including independent power producers, major international banks, development finance institutions, global private equity firms, and multinational industrial groups across diverse industries.
