DFDL is pleased to announce that Kristy Newby has been promoted to Partner and Co-Head of Regional Compliance and Investigations Practice effective 1st October.
Kristy joined DFDL in January 2010 as a senior associate. In both the Lao PDR and Vietnam, Kristy has advised private and public companies, financial institutions and investors on corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investment. Kristy has substantial experience advising potential investors, existing operators and regulatory authorities in the mining sectors in the Mekong region.
Kristy is recognized as a leading lawyer in the Lao PDR by Chambers Asia Pacific, Legal 500 and AsiaLaw Profiles.
