On 4 February 2020, the US Embassy in the Lao PDR organized an agricultural trade delegation in Vientiane. Kristy Newby (DFDL Lao PDR Country Managing Director) participated in this one-day meeting where she delivered a presentation on ‘Doing Business in the Lao PDR’. Her presentation focused on four main topics: foreign investment basics, business registration, general taxes overview and investment incentives relevant to the agricultural sector. This one-day event concluded with a B2B matchmaking event and a networking reception.
