Leab has more than 13 years of experience in offering strategic guidance and legal advice to multinational corporations. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial, foreign investment, public-private partnerships, telecommunications and ICT, mining, energy, oil, and gas, clean water supply, maritime and inland water transportation, factory and hospitality. With a diverse background that covers various practice areas, Leab has a broad range of skills set to cater to a wide range of client needs.
 
In renewable energy, Leab has advised investors and developers on diverse projects, including solar rooftop, solar greenfield, hydro, biomass, wind energy, and LNG-to-electricity ventures. His expertise spans managing M&A transaction, involving in project finance, drafting legal environmental reports for market entry, reviewing and revising project documents (government guarantee, power purchase agreement, EPC contract, concession agreement/PPP contracts.
 
Educationally, Leab earned a Master of Law - LLM from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and a Master of Applied Business – MAB from Unitec Institute of Technology in New Zealand, enhancing his understanding of international legal frameworks and broadening his perspective on global business practices. Leab also completed a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Cambodia. Leab speaks Khmer and English.
