DFDL is pleased to announce that it acted as lead counsel to Royal Group International in the negotiation of its landmark agreement with Marriott International for the development of The Ritz-Carlton, Phnom Penh and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Phnom Penh, which will introduce the iconic Ritz-Carlton brand to Cambodia for the first time. The development is expected to comprise a 152-key luxury hotel and 119 branded residences as part of a premier mixed-use project in the heart of Phnom Penh.
This transformative project represents a major milestone for Cambodia’s hospitality and real estate sectors and is set to establish a new benchmark for ultra-luxury hospitality and branded residential living in the Kingdom.
The DFDL team was led by Paul Volodarsky, with key support from Denora Sarin and Davy Kong, advising Royal Group International throughout the negotiations and transaction process.
